Apple iPhone 5 Could See October Release!

Apple could release the iPhone 5 in October, according to latest rumors. But questions remain about actual features.

Apple’s next iPhone could see its debut in September—or maybe October. It will likely come with Apple’s proprietary A5 processor and an 8-megapixel camera, but it’s more questionable whether the case will undergo a fundamental redesign. As for the device’s official name, you could probably place money just as easily on “iPhone 4S” as “iPhone 5”—or both, if Apple chooses to launch a whole new line of cheaper iPhones to complement its annual high-end device.

The ramp-up to the launch of each new Apple product sometimes plays out like the tech-world version of Beckett’s “Waiting for Godot,” in which confusion reigns.

Report| Apple Suppliers Ramping Up Production For iPhone5 Launch

It's very likely that the iPhone5 will be announced soon, and in preparation for the launch, manufacturers have kicked production of Apple's fifth-gen smart phone.

According to a Digitizes report, Apple manufacturer Fox Conn is producing 150,000 iPhone5s every day as the launch date presumably nears. Digitizes also said the makers of the iPhone's lens, touch panel, reinforced glass, and battery are "operating at full swing."

It estimates that Apple will ship as many as six million iPhone5s in September alone, and that shipments in the fourth quarter will soar past 22 million. As this happens, suppliers will wind down production of the iPhone4 and CDMA versions of the iPhone, Digitizes also said.
